Mr. Rasheed U. Ornat is the Head of Information Technology at DavoDani Microfinance Bank, where he provides strategic leadership across digital transformation, IT operations, information security, and technology-driven innovation.

He holds academic qualifications in Information Technology from Yaba College of Technology and Computer Science from Bells University of Technology, forming a strong technical foundation that underpins his professional career.

Mr. Ornat joined DavoDani Microfinance Bank in June 2023 as a Digital and Communications Officer, where he led the implementation of several impactful digital initiatives. His performance, technical depth, and strategic insight earned him expanded responsibilities, culminating in his current role overseeing the bank’s IT function.

With over eight years of cross-industry experience in Information Technology, he has worked across sectors including Education, Technology, Real Estate, Fashion, Transportation, and Financial Services. His expertise spans digital strategy, systems implementation, cybersecurity, data protection, and enterprise IT management.

He is a Certified GDPR Lead Implementer and a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), with strong competence in information security governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, and data protection frameworks. In addition, he brings hands-on experience in digital marketing, SEO, frontend development, product management, PR planning and execution, and experiential marketing, having contributed to projects and campaigns for brands such as Parallex Bank, CashConnect Microfinance Bank, the International Organization for Migration (IOM), Antigua Air, SunKing, and Enipro, among others.

A committed lifelong learner, Mr. Ornat actively participates in industry conferences, professional workshops, and continuous professional development programmes, ensuring he remains at the forefront of evolving technology, cybersecurity, and digital communication trends.
