Simeon Akpovwoghokohwo Ohwofa ksc, Knight of Saint Christopher, is a distinguished product of the prestigious Government College, Ughelli, Delta State and Nigeria’s premier University, University of Ibadan, graduating with a B.Sc in Agric-Biochemistry and Nutrition.  He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Benin.  His love for knowledge got him professional certificates from marketing institutes of London and the Lagos Business School.  He started his career as a National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) teacher, after which he left the educational sector to the Agricultural sector in production, marketing and management.  He started off as a marketing/sales representative with J. L. Morisons (Now Morson Industries) and later joined Roche Nigeria Limited (The Nigerian Subsidiary of F. Hoffman-La Roch, Switzerland) where he became the Head, Feed Industries, and Vitamins Division.

In June 1995, he resigned from paid employment to setup a chain of successful companies, amongst which are O. M. Simons Nigeria Limited as Chairman/Chief Executive Officer, Nutrivital Limited as Managing Director, Sommes Ventures Limited as Chairman.

Simeon Akpovwoghokohwo Ohwofa ksc is a socially inclined man.  Evidence of his social affiliations are the positions he held in the various professional and social associations he belonged to, some of which are Junior Chambers, Benin City (Jaycees), Secretary and later Vice President, Nigeria Society for Animal Production (NSAP) – Ex Officio Executive Member, Vice President and later Acting President, Nigeria Institute of Animal Science – Governing Council Member and now Vice President.  He was also a member of the implementation committee of the Federal Alternative Feed Formulation.  Simeon Akpovwoghokohwo Ohwofa ksc has authored books and delivered several papers on Animal Production and farming locally and internationally.  Simeon Akpovwoghokohwo Ohwofa ksc is a recipient of many awards in recognition for his works, contributions and achievements in Agriculture, some of which are: Award for Excellence from the Nigerian Society for Animal Production (NSAP), A Fellow, Animal Science Association of Nigeria (ASAN) and he is a life member, Lagos Business School Alumni Association.  He is happily married and has 3 sons.  He brings his immense knowledge and experience to the Board of DavoDani Microfinance Bank Lagos.
